Founded in 2020, Sousa & Augusto is part of a family group with more than 40 years of experience in fashion and over 20 years in wholesale distribution. Today the group runs two showrooms and six retail stores, and represents more than fifteen fashion brands in Portugal.
Within the group, Sousa & Augusto is the voice of a new generation: younger, more international, and focused on bringing brands from other markets and other continents to Portugal, while building on a family heritage that knows this market from the inside.
Our ambition is to move beyond the traditional wholesale model and look further than the established European fashion circuit. We look across markets, regions and continents for brands with their own identity, bringing new aesthetics and ideas to the Portuguese market.
We believe this broader, more international approach is where fashion distribution is heading.

Born in the North, our network now reaches boutiques from Minho to the Algarve. Every brand we represent is presented, sold and followed up by a team that knows each market and each shop first-hand.

Our experience in wholesale and retail gives us a complete view of the market. We understand what retailers need, what customers are looking for and how a brand can grow from the showroom to the store.
With more than 150 multi-brand clients and our own retail network, we have a strong network and a direct connection with the market.
We also work with a growing network of influencers and fashion creators in Portugal and across Europe. Together with each brand, we develop the right strategy to introduce it to the market, reach the right target and establish the image and positioning the brand wants to build in our territory.
